This lake is one of my favorite places on Earth and John and Sandy go out of their way to make your experience everything it can be. They are very knowledgeable of the area and surrounding lakes and trails. The cabins are warm and cozy. I just can't elaborate enough on how awesome they are!

We loved our 9 day stay! John and Sandy were wonderful! We had an amazing time touring Pictured Rocks with our own boat, visiting Mackinac for the day, seeing lighthouses, waterfalls and we went to Kitchitikipi Springs...it was all so beautiful! We caught a Pike and several other fish within 2 hours on the lake and had a fish fry feast for the 4 of us! Definitely coming back!
John & Sandy are great pepole..the time I spend there is awesome!!!!!! I hate to leave........
Just spent 5 days staying at Whispering Pines and hunting in the Hiawatha National Forest and couldn't have had a better time or accommodations. John & Sandy are awesome hosts. We'll be back hopefully for ice fishing this winter but for sure next Deer Season.
Bathrooms were very clean, hosts welcoming, and cabin great with very comfortable beds. Only negative is the code to get into bathrooms was very frustrating.
What an awesome place! John and Sandy were the perfect hosts handsdown! We were up for snowmobiling and took time to show us some "hidden gems". The cabin was comfy and well stocked. Best nights sleep weve all had in a while. We can't wait to come.back! The location is great to go many different riding spots. Each day was a new adventure!
